Sidewalk Poems the first

I did it! It’s a poem I wrote some years ago, but it felt right to get something out before it started raining again, something about spring and love. This is just the first stanza. Stanza two will be next week! I can’t tell you how difficult it seemed to be to make this happen. Yet I’m excited to get the creativity flowing again, to renew my love affair with the written word.

I used to consider myself an artist and a writer. Gosh that seems so long ago. Recently as I hear is common at 40 (ha I can hear the midlife crisis jokes now) But honestly that seems to be a large part of this age, and I’m sure it will continue. I am questioning what my values and ideals are and making sure my life is in alignment with them. For me the time period between college and say 34 I was caught up in life…babies, jobs, boyfriends, girlfriends, moving, career etc. At 34 though began my journey to become a healer, and to as I said, bring my life in alignment with my values.
